How does a filter clean water? Preliminary filtration ensures the removal of mechanical impurities, active chlorine, organochlorine compounds, as well as natural organic substances. Membrane cleaning removes up to 99.8% of dissolved impurities, viruses, and bacteria. To correct the taste and smell, purified water is post-treated with Chemviron Carbon activated carbon.
